After last nights epic session with Will Softly here in Galway, I'm ready to take it up a notch further! We'll be throwing down in a CASTLE tonight! These are the types of gigs you just don't come across in the States or in Brazil. It's an invite only affair so if you know me and you're in the area and you're not already on the list, hit me up and I'll see what I can do! I'm about to get medieval on yo ass!

At last years Electric Picnic festival, I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Will Softly; sound system king, dj from galway city and a hell of a nice guy. Tonight I have the pleasure of playing beside him at his party here in Galway, Club Oa2. He'll be rolling out the Function One sound system for tonight and the walls of downtown Galway will be shaking! Expect the funky disco, global grooves and bass heavy beats to be served up thick!

As I write this, I'm sitting at the airport in Atlanta, Georgia waiting on my connection to Dublin, Ireland. The European Summer Tour 2012 is underway and I couldn't be more hyped to be going back!
This weekend, you can catch me at the always amazing Body & Soul festival in County Westmeath, Ireland. I'll be doing my main set on the Casa Habana stage but, if it is anything like last year, I'll also be playing a few pop up gigs here and there. I love Body & Soul because instead of being about a couple of main stages, it's about 100's of little nooks and crannies to explore.... enchanted gardens, wooded areas filled with hot tubs and art installations and, as always, great music. In addition to The Herbaliser and Little Dragon, I'm really looking forward to discovering some great new artists that I've yet to hear. Hope to see some of you there!  Botafogo Social Club and cult carioca bass crew, Brazilian Wax, are hyped to bring you their sonic love child, BRAZA, tonight at Catrin in Lapa. Expect to hear sounds running the gamut from soul and rare grooves to hip hop, boogie, house, booty and disco. The folks at TimeOut Rio have a nice little write up here you can read.
