While driving cross country from San Francisco to the East Coast, I scored this amazing 12" by the Shantell Sisters. I'm not gonna front, I new nothing about this record when I pulled it out of a stack in a record store in Indiana. It just had that look of something I would dig and I was intrigued by the low budget design of the cover. Not to mention, it was only a dollar. When I finally made it back to the East Coast, I pulled it out along with a few other things I picked up. I rubbed back and forth against my thigh the still sealed end of the sleeve, unleashing almost 30 years of shrink-wrapped funky goodness. After having a listen, I ran to google the tittle. It was only then I learned that the group was essentially an unknown funky disco outfit from Florida and, if you can even find a copy of this disc, it sells for upwards of $150!

Featured below is the b-side dub mix, which I plan to do an edit of in the very near future. Enjoy!
