There has been a notable reemergence of the two step sound as of late with the difference this time around being, I'm liking it. Completely subjective opinions aside, the new work appearing in the genre is rooted less in UK Garage and more in deep and atmospheric realms. A noteworthy example I've recently come across is this remix of the upcoming release, "Close" by new artists, Background Sound. They've got my attention and are definitely worth a listen.
